Apprentice Prevailing Wage Reporting Instructions

Illinois HB 2488 (Public Act 104-17) amended the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act to require that registered apprentices working on prevailing wage projects receive full journeyperson fringe benefits. The law's implementation was subsequently delayed until July 1, 2026, by HB 1437 (Public Act 104-434).

The new codes set up in the Employer Remittance Reporting system are:
